What is Multi-Factor Authentication?

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) adds an additional verification step when logging in to your Armstrong account. In addition to your username and password, you will verify your identity using a secondary method, like a code sent to your phone or an authentication app.


How to Enable MFA for Your Armstrong Account:

  1. Sign in to Your Armstrong Account & Access Your User Settings
  2. Click here to sign into your Armstrong account and access your user settings.

  3. Locate MFA Option
  4. Under your username, look for the option labeled Enable MFA.

  5. Click ‘Enable’
  6. Click the “Enable” button next to the Enable MFA option.

  7. Choose Your Verification Method
  8. You will be prompted to select a method for verifying your identity. Choose one of the following:

    • Authenticator App: Use apps like Google Authenticator or similar.
    • Phone Verification: Receive a code via SMS on your mobile phone.

  9. Verify Your Identity
    • If using an Authenticator App: Scan the QR code displayed on the screen using your app, or manually enter the provided code.
    • If using SMS: Enter the phone number where you'd like to receive verification codes.

  10. Enter the Verification Code
  11. Once you’ve set up your preferred method, you will receive a one-time code. Enter that code in the provided field to complete the setup process.

  12. Confirmation
  13. You will see a confirmation message letting you know that MFA has been successfully enabled on your Armstrong account.
