Setting Up Custom DNS in the HomePass® App

By default, your Wi-Fi will be set to use Armstrong's DNS servers. However, if you'd like to set your Wi-Fi to a Custom DNS server, follow these steps:


iOS
  1. From the home screen, tap the menu icon at the bottom-left hand corner and go to the Adaptive WiFi tab.
  2. Open Advanced WiFi Settings.
  3. Tap Custom DNS.
  4. In the DNS fields, enter the desired DNS in the Primary and Secondary server fields respectively.
  5. Tap Done.
Android
  1. From the home screen, tap the menu icon at the top-left hand corner and then go to the Adaptive WiFi tab.
  2. Tap on the gear icon to bring up Advanced Settings.
  3. Tap DNS.
  4. Slide the toggle switch to Custom DNS.
  5. Select Primary DNS or Secondary DNS field.
  6. In the DNS fields, enter the desired DNS in the Primary and Secondary server fields respectively.
  7. Tap Done.
